Another Political Assassination In Yemen

In Yemen, the Houthi’s chief of their Supreme Political Council Saleh Al- Sammad was killed in an airstrike carried out by the Saudi-led coalition. But the assassinations didn’t stop there because there were additional assassinations at his funeral as the Houthi rebels gathered which resulted in dozens being killed including two high ranking commanders of the group. In retaliation, the Houthis once again fired missiles into Saudi Arabia. It seems the Saudi coalition has taken on this strategy to eliminate key leaders in the Houthi political and military structure. This is a new dimension that the Saudi’s are taking as the civil war grinds on in Yemen.
