Recently President Trump has used his Twitter account to admonished Pakistan for their lies and deceit over the years, something that many others including myself have documented before. The Trump administration suspended 1.15 billion in anti-terror funding to Pakistan in protest of their numerous shady dealings with Islamic terrorism. The exact quote from Trump is
“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”
Now, believe it or not, I actually agree with this, as far back 2009 the deception and lies from Pakistan have been something I've been watching carefully. It's worth documenting that the whole issue can be traced back to the late 90’s during the Clinton years when we attempted to kill Osama Bin Laden. If Pakistan really wanted to eliminate the Afghan Taliban that affects the current NATO mission in Afghanistan then they could, but, they won't because the Pakistani military and intelligence agency are immersed in the same exact ideology. So on this issue, I applaud Trump for speaking out and taking action in this situation which was long overdue.
