Useless Free Time

There's this weird thing that I haven't been struck with yet... It isn't any sort of "once in a lifetime" type of event or anything like that. It's more like an emotional decision and journey crisis. Well, here's what I'm going to call it. I'm going to call it passion impatience.
I define this so-called "passion impatience" as... someone realizing that they're tired of doing bullshit jobs and actually taking control of their life through the means of truly pursuing what they want to do with their life. I mean, FULL pursuit. Living paycheck to paycheck, and going off government assistance if you have to. Becoming homeless and dropping out of school type commitment. The kind of commitment where you would stop giving your significant other time just pursue a bigger dream than anyone else can fathom.
You see; I find myself going through this endless cycle of trying to find what I am really passionate about. The worst part about it is that my interest shifts almost every few months from one thing to another. This can make it somewhat hard to find a job in anything that makes me not want to shoot myself. I had this epiphany when I watched this video about how life is so short that you may never get to live out your dream... so why aren't we chasing our dreams every day?
I'll tell you why.
We have this feeling that we don't have enough time.
I am here to tell you that's bullshit.
If you sleep for 7 or 8 hours a night and work a day/night job for 8 to 10 hours a day, that still gives you somewhere between 4 and 6 hours to do things freely! This includes eating, traveling to and from your job, and the kicker... hobbies...
I have come to the conclusion that if you REALLY want to be something in this world, you must give up on your hobbies... You can ask anyone who is successful. They will tell you that they became FULLY submerged in whatever they became huge in. Mainly actors/actresses and such, but even tech moguls who came from nothing will tell you that they didn't do anything for months. They wanted something more than everyone else and they went out and achieved it... They became what everyone else was inspiring to be...
I am not a huge Drake fan, but there's one line that has always stuck out to me of his...
In one of his songs he says... "I'm just sittin' here makin' all of the music they listen to."
That should hit EVERYONE like a truck... He doesn't need to vibe out to other people's music because he's too busy making the party music for everyone else... That's a guy who spends so much time working, that he is so much further ahead of everyone else. Just look at the charts and statistics. Not just with music, but any other profession. The people who give up on their hobbies and become fully submerged in what they want to do with their lives become the hunter instead of the hunted...
My point is... If you want to reach your maximum potential, you must be able to let go of the things... "holding you back" and become the thing that you always wanted to.
For me, this is video games... For you... it's something else... Find that something and become something out of it.
