The Muller investigation has taken a new turn with indictments being issued for three individuals which are former campaign manager for Trump Paul Manafort, his associate Rick Gates and former campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos. Paul and Rick face conspiracy and money laundering charges along with making false statements and George faces charges of lying to the FBI. George crimes are the most interesting because he lied to the FBI but has entered a plea deal meaning he is now cooperating with them and may have been wired up to get recorded confessions from others. His story is he has emails about how he was in contact with Russian representatives about dirt on Clinton and wanted the Trump team to look into the matter. Trump on the other hand has been freaking out on Twitter saying that the real scandal is Clinton's Uranium situation and that George was just a low level individual even though he had great things to say about him on the campaign trail.
My opinion is if Trump is acting like this then Mueller should just keep digging. Just like I said before in my other article on the investigation, we might see other charges on other crimes excluding connections to Russian collusion since this is an expanding investigation which is what you see with Rick and Paul. But I also said this may not end up with Trump indictment or impeachment. Many people are jumping to conclusions on both sides trying to figure out how this will end but we all need to let him do his job and be patient cause that’s what I’m doing. However, this is interesting and I do feel more people will get caught up in the process so let’s see what happens next.
