The Mosul Conclusion

Just like Libya we have another operation concluding in Mosul. Like Libya you see the stubbornness of the terrorist as they try to hide and fight to the death making the last little advancements very difficult. The prime minister has already declared victory but sniper fire and raids continue in the war torn city to rout the last remaining ISIS jihadist. Now it shall be noted that just because ISIS has been defeated in Mosul doesn’t mean that it is over. They still control areas like Tal Afar and Hawijah in the North and Anah, Rawa and Qaim in the West. These areas are much smaller and wont be as prolonged as the Mosul operation so I expect that they will be cleared as soon as the Mosul operation is officially over which should be in the very near future.
