Megan Kelly’s Alex Jones interview

So Alex Jones has made the news again and you can thank Meagan Kelly for this because she wanted to interview him. The ratings on this were a disaster and many people are criticizing Meagan Kelly for even interviewing this man. Also add to the fact that he secretly recorded her without her knowing it and on the recordings she is pretty much telling him that the interview is going to be a way for people to get to know Alex Jones and quote “This is not going to be a contentious, 'gotcha' exchange, That's not what this show is and that's not what I want to do... I'm not going to be out there and be Barbara Walters." She is saying anything to him so he can agree to the interview. Now, when we look at the interview, she presses him on his conspiracy theories like his most famous one where he thinks the sandy hook shooting was a hoax with crisis actors. In the interview he claims that he was just reporting what people were saying and playing devil’s advocate and trying to juggle both sides. But this is interesting because Alex doesn’t play devil’s advocate for black lives matter claims or the claims made by progressive. If you didn’t already know, I’ve made a whole write up proving the case that Alex is a con man which I would advise you to go read. And that’s exactly what this is, an attempt by Alex to normalize himself in front of a large audience. In my opinion, yes Kelly has a right to interview who she wants however just look at how he treated her after. He literally just claimed she is a puppet for the CIA-globalist machine. This is the person that we are talking about. We already know his views are far out there whether he believes the nonsense or don’t. What Megan Kelly only accomplished was getting the advertisers to pull out from her show and she was denied entry to the sandy hook charity event and I can’t say I feel sorry for her because she defends the interview stating "What I think we're doing is journalism. The bottom line is that while it's not always popular, it's important. I would submit to you that neither I nor NBC News has elevated Alex Jones in any way. He's been elevated by 5 or 6 million viewers or listeners, and by the president of the United States. As you know, journalists don't get the choice over who has power or influence in our country." But journalists DO get the choice of who they interview and must take the consequences that come with it.
