Richard Rojas, a strange 26 year old man drove his vehicle into multiple pedestrians inside of Times Square which resulted in the killing of one person and injuring dozens more. This is the most bizarre story of the month in my opinion because it’s amazing how he lost control of his vehicle to commit this act and he is being charged with second degree murder on multiple counts. He has a history of being intoxicated while driving and the NYPD are still investigating what happened. The victim who sadly was killed was an 18 year old woman named Alyssa Elsman and it’s heartbreaking that someone that young was taken out by one man’s recklessness.
