Libyan Peace Deal?

Great and promising news out of Libya recently. The United Arab Emirates hosted the meeting where Khalifa Hiftar and Fayez al-sarraj had direct talks and agreed to work towards a political solution and cease hostilities. This is very significant because they also agreed to holding presidential and paraliamentary elections next year. Of course Khalifa Ghweli opposes this and feels is just people seeking personal interest. There are many challenges ahead and this is too early to be called a monumental step but it's a step in the right direction towards ending the endless bloodshed. As more information and meetings are reported, I will make sure to keep you updated on the development.
