Usually this wouldn’t be news considering this is ISIS being ISIS however the reason behind this is why I’m writing about it and its body count. This was the largest execution by the terror group this year with 33 killed and put in a mass grave, but why? As you know from my previous article about Marines landing in Syria, the U.S. is currently trying to take Raqqah city from ISIS and recently they have been taking losses in the immediate area around the Tabqa Dam. These executions by ISIS demonstrate desperation, confusion and anger over the recent events because the situation is not going their way. They are also doing the same thing in Mosul where they are hanging people from poles who try to flee as they are also losing there as well, so expect more of this as the caliphate becomes smaller and smaller.
