Al-Qaeda on the move

Tahrir al-Sham launched an offensive attack in collaboration with the Free Syrian Army in the Damascus districts, surprising Assad forces and igniting battles close to the heart of the city. This is something we haven’t seen in years quite frankly because the rebels have not been able to make an advance within the capital but since this group has formed, we have seen major advances and attacks putting Assad back under pressure. But that’s not the only offensive attack they have started because they also have opened up another front with the free Syrian army in the Hama province and are approaching the city fast. It’s also important to note that the infamous Hama military airport is there as well which is responsible for a lot of the Syrian army airstrikes. In closing what I have to say is this. All eyes need to be on Tahrir al-Sham because they have also absorbed Jaysh al-Farouq, a free Syrian army affiliated group which now makes them the largest anti-Assad group behind ISIS.
