Terror in London

In Westminster an ISIS inspired jihadi drove his vehicle into pedestrians killing 4 and wounding 50. While ISIS has suffered repeated beatings in the battles across Syria and Iraq that still hasn’t deterred their followers from committing these types of lone wolf attacks. Now, just so people understand, the man that did this was Khalid Masood and there was a lot of confusion that it was Abu Izzadeen who is in prison who orchestrated this attack. I'm very familiar with Abu Izzadeen and you would too if you follow Britain’s radical Islamic extremist community that has a small following. The dead includes a British police officer who was stabbed by this maniac, American tourist, Spanish college worker and 75 year old man. These types of attacks are why a Muslim ban is so absurd because this man was born in England and not directly linked to ISIS and became radicalized anyway. I’ve always said that the lone wolf threat is something that is the hardest to detect in comparison to a group of terror cells traveling overseas because the lone wolf is already a native of the country and only needs the internet. What this will lead to in my view is more fuel for the far right in Europe and here in America. France and Germany have elections in the upcoming year and this will no doubt be used by the far right in those respective countries as a lesson in why there must be tougher immigration laws and a stronger focus on Muslims inside of those countries. Only time will tell whether these types of incidents and other situations will pay off for the right wing in those elections however.
