Hollow Knight, a beautifully dark take on a classic formula.

Here at FiendFix one of our main goals is to bring to the forefront that which is mostly unseen by the mainstream, but deserves to be known. When it comes to gaming that means covering games that may not have millions to spend on advertising, like the publishing giants that make games like Call of Duty or Assassin's Creed.

It's with that purpose in mind that I bring to your attention an exciting new game by indie dev Team Cherry, Hollow Knight.

Hollow Knight immediately catches the eye with its hand drawn, dark and whimsical art style and its nostalgia inducing similarities with classic games like Castlevania or Metroid. But its very clear that Hollow Knight is its own game with a world that implies rich lore, tight controls and deep progression.

Hollow Knight is out on PC on the 24th of February and on the Nintendo Switch sometime soon after launch.
