There has been multiple strikes in two of the world’s hot spots for terrorism so let’s break things down. In Libya B-2 bombers from the U.S. Air Force were used to attack two ISIS camps In the desert killing 80 operatives. This is a continuation by the Pentagon to go after ISIS wherever they may be and these airstrikes continue to degrade and keep ISIS from establishing a solid presence similar to Iraq and Syria. Also the U.S. recently just wrapped up an air operation supporting Libyan militias fighting ISIS and defeating them in Sirte.
Next we take a look at the massive strike in Syria. Warplanes and drones were used to attack Al-Qaeda’s training camp removing over 100 terrorist from the battlefield in Idlib province the headquarters for them. Keep in mind the Al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria was Al-Nursa front but now It’s called Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham after they tried to soften their image and rename themselves to seem moderate to prevent concentrated attacks like this(even though they’ve been attacked previous to this) after seeing what was occurring with ISIS but it seems the Department Of The Defense isn’t buying it and this wasn’t the first strike.
