Alien has returned and the hype is real; as a fan of the franchise myself I couldn’t be more excited to run to theaters to see the next installment in the franchise dubbed “Alien: Covenant”. Excitement abound as Ridley Scott returns to the helm of Alien: Covenant as director, the director for the original alien and a man that holds a near legendary status among sci-fi fanatics.
The trailer for the movie quickly sets the tone with the cool, dark and gritty visuals the movies are known for along with strong foreboding atmosphere throughout. In my opinion the movie looks to be the movie fans have been waiting for, bringing us back to what made alien great and come to make its mark on sci-fi as a genre.
